Jack’s offers the comfort of a neighborhood pub with the experience of a restaurant that’s always taking chances. An early champion of sous-vide (water bath) cooking, the menu has expanded to include more global influences — a Moroccan spiced chicken, various incarnations of curry. But it has also retained some of the quirkiness that drew diners in the first place. Is there anyone in Baltimore who hasn’t at least sampled the chocolate macaroni and cheese? Service is kind.
