The 111-year-old tavern has been given a cosmetic face-lift, with bright new fabrics and a new seating arrangement. One of the city's favorite watering holes is still looking for a menu worthy of the space, but the Owl Bar remains an attractive gathering spot for the midtown neighborhoods.
