A nondescript chain restaurant was transformed into the Royal Taj, a stately space where a wealth of Indian dishes can be savored, served by a well-honed staff. Standouts include tandoori lamb chops cooked in a charcoal clay oven and the chicken tikka masala. Desserts offer refined taste sensations, too.
